Description
White Birch Tree by MrMaison

UPDATE 3/12/2016
This tree was affected by After Dark shadows. I fixed vertex normals for better shadows and improved texture map.
New screenshots coming soon.

A white Birch tree for your cities. This is also a first of a series. I will be adding a better in game icon soon.

NOTE: Please do not try to make an entire forest unless you have a beefy system. Use with moderation. Poly count is around 2400 tris. They work fine on my end with no lag.

As usual, I strongly suggest Boformer's Random Tree Rotation mod
http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=556784825
And his LOD Toggler mod

Also BloodyPenguin's No Radioactive Mod http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=666425898
And Prop and Tree Anarchy http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=593588108

Sharp Textures mod really makes a difference in how the foliage looks in game http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=793176674

Be sure to check out more color variants in my workshop.

Enjoy!

I'm dedicating these trees to my grandmother.

I think, you didn't get the point of our comments xD
Clearly ^^
If it's not the tree we're looking for, you made an awesome bunch of them more recently, we can just not subscribe to that one, and get the new one.
The fact is, if we're asking for updates is that a lot of other modders are using your old ones, and so we're obliged to have 3 kind of the same trees, because no updates but new props, even if we like only one of those versions, because the other ons are too old.
This is why we're asking for revamp and updates, because some other mods force us using those old looking things :/

This is one of my first trees from back in 2015 when I first got started making trees for the game and didn't know better. Just consider it a classic. The silver Birch trees I made more recently is a good alternative.

its a bit too green imo, a bit more pale would make it look a lot better

Same here, green color is too strong, fell like aditing a photo of birches and getting 100% contrast changes

New England trees in general would be an awesome add! Thanks man!

Hello friend. Very nice work. Do you take suggestions? Cause there are a few species endemic of New Hampshire that would really help with my new map.. such as the Red Pine (similar but different to the scots). Also a White Spruce would be perfect (shorter, more full and blue-ish in color). Finally there's your classic Balsam Fir. (The Christmas Tree without lights :P)

Used your tree for a birchtree road made with the new road editor. Thanks for providing this item.
