I love it when modding is accessible in a game! I'm thinking of working some stuff out myself, but I'm scoping out the game first. :)

Im actually going to start learning to use blender so maybe soon will have some growable stuff along this theme. This is my first game i have ever got into the making side, I am quite enjoying it.

Think there is a way to convert it to an industry or commerce 'jobsite'? As if it's an office?

No it is classified as a park, turned visitors off though, somehow a child playing hopscotch in a construction zone seemed like a bad idea.
