DFL Fighter Entry World

Description
Authors notes:

This is my fighter for submittal to the DFL run by Laststandgamers. Upon begining construction, I originally decided on an approach of high redundancy and survivability in the design of this fighters internal systems whilst atempting to maintain a reasonably low profile. Although I feel that the targets of high redundancy and survivability were met, the fighter that I had created was considerably larger than what I had planned. I therefore decided to experiment with disruptive cameoflage and countermeasures that could be deployed in a head-to-head fly by to attempt to distract the enemy pilot. As a result, my final entry is fitted with multiple spotlights which when activated strobe ad a frequency of 0.1s on a 50% interval. Upon a small amount of research, I decided upon choosing pink for the strobe colour as it is hardest for the brain to process and this became apparent as I ended up feeling a little sick after testing the finished countermeasures. In the area of weaponry, this fighter is equipped with 2 Scattercannons and one rocket launcher. The rocket launcher is special on this fighter as it is equipped with a narrow field sensor which when triggered will fire a missile at the enemy vessel which entered. This again will be useful in head to head combat. Internally, this vessel is equipped with 12 gyroscopes, 5 small reactors and 1 large reactor and is driven by 2 sage thrusters and 1 large thruster. This therefore makes it extremely manouverable and fast.

Technical specifications:

-12 gyroscopes

-3 small reactors

-1 large reactor

-'disruptive countermeasures' strobing spotlights

-2 manually firing scattercannons (CSD)

-1 sensor fired rocket launcher with manual override

Note for Aaron:
as I was unsure of weather or not to upload the fighter as a world or blueprint, a link to a blueprint containing the fighter can be found here. http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=385627444
