[Exploration] Vanguard Patrol Fighter

The Vanguard Fighter is a powerful attack/patrol vessel usually assigned in squadrons alongside Vanguard Bombers. It is highly manouverable, especially for the heavy armour it uses, and carries four gatling cannons and one missile launcher for neutralising enemy strike craft. It can also stay in combat for much longer than other ships of the type thanks to the myriad redundant systems. For example, rather than one large reactor, it has multiple smaller reactors, all linked with conveyers and spread across the ship to ensure you never lose your power, even in the longest of dogfights.

Vanguard squadrons are able to fiercely defend a region of space, and are often seen patrolling borders of various organisations.
