Abstract-Pattern ‘Brick’ (commonly referred to as Brick-Pat) is an off-shoot of the Ab-Pat program with combat in areas dense in buildings constructed out of red brick. The pattern initially took a unique brick-like shape, but was later adapted to reuse the universal Ab-Pat design with a brick-like color scheme. Small amounts of Brick-Pat were trialed during several training exercises and the infamous Mensk Incident, however, the pattern was deemed ‘impractical and useless 9 times out of ten’ by Major General Schmidt, and it was largely shelved as a result.
