However, you can simply remove the line “OnTest = Recipe.OnTest.HotFluidContainer,” in your local copy of the downloaded mod. That way it will work with any water source without boiling (I just tested it).

Personally, I tried Sapph’s Cooking a while ago but found it a bit overwhelming - too many new items cluttering containers, too many recipes with lots of intermediate stages, and not always clear info on the nutrients I’d get (though it does have its own wiki, which helps a bit).
So if anyone prefers really complex cooking expansions, Sapph’s Cooking might be a better fit, and you wouldn’t need this mod. Both include a boiled egg recipe, but only this mod also supports poached eggs recipe.
