Tynan has added 3 vanilla options in taking-off UI to control visitors, animals and mechs. Now this mod can:
——Allow you to manually control the passengers. They work as before. But how does the mod passenger work with the vanilla system? If you toggle the vanilla option to board colony animals, and have no animal passenger in the UI, all colony animals will still be counted as passengers.
——Allow you to set the 3 vanilla options default value in mod setting
——Passengers and crews can still help downed passengers to board. Now they can help downed visitors to leave too. Pilots will not offer help anymore.
——Allow to automatically add the passengers in last taking-off in mod setting.

A mod allows your animals, mechs, ghouls to board on ship before you fly.

Update 2025/8/6: Tynan has fixed the dryad issue, so I removed the warning in mod setting.

Added a passenger role in the gravship takeoff UI, allowing you to add animals, mechs, ghouls and downed humans as passengers. You can also set it to automatically add passengers in the mod settings.

Passengers, crew, and pilots will first bring downed passengers or penned animals aboard before taking off. If you do not have a caravan packing spot on your ship, the animal will be roped near the engine.

The difference between passengers and crew members is that passengers do not provide a bonus to pilot performance, but crew members do. If downed, passengers will not be kicked out of the member list, but crew members will (this is because Tynan set the crew members as spectators of the take off ritual).

This is fixed in vanilla now, but in old game versions your pawns might disappear when the gravship lands If you bring a dryad on board.


There may still be bugs, please report them to me. If the graship cannot take off, you can try to cancel the takeoff and try again.

This mod defaults to all pawns being a passenger even though I have add passengers in last launch. I thought this mod would save my ship's "loadout" in terms of passengers. It's good it defaults to no animals though.

Thank you muchly, I am doing a fairly normal playthrough (i.e. stationary main colony), so I am mostly just using the gravship for certain types of quests or mining expeditions.

I forgot to uncheck all the options for loading animals and such so many times… This mod is a god-send.

I've discovered an error. When the Gravship Engine is miniaturized (that is, you can carry it around), I get an error every millisecond until I put it back somewhere.

Constantly costing 0.2ms per tick (it cost 2.4ms per tick in total) even when not having any gravship.
