Emod is a collection of mods i made with my friend Gilbert while we were playing a map with my Gmod+ Collection and we were like, really high, at least i was, and everything was INSANE and CRAZY and it was awesome and then i was like "it should get realer and we should explore maps" and now yeah, we're here. 64-bit binaries for Gmod!!!! Slight performance improvements, pretty much. When Emod sessions are hosted, its on this branch. Your game will have to update for it to apply! :3

Vanilla optimization is pretty straightforward. Graphics aren't mandatory, but are recommended, and I PERSONALLY BELIEVE no crosshair adds to it. Like, way way way more than you'd think.








Generally for Exploration, unless it's like, a map from a game or something, realism is the target! Not the generic Gmod definition with all that military slop, just movement!! Max graphics will always be best for immersion.

Each Important-to-Optimize mod will get it's own section with a display of how you should, if you want, recreate the settings to experience it the same way I do. WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY THE BEST WAY! I'M MIROSUBI! I MADE THIS COLLECTION!!! You can take my word for it. I recommend doing everything from here down in a singleplayer server, simpler mods will not have any comments.

simply open the console and enter "better_colors 1" (step must be done loaded in a map)

Life Mod may be the most confusing for some to set up at first, but just select the highlighted options and recreate the settings i have and you wont have to open it again. This mod may severely impact performance on older machines and is NOT recommended to set up if you don't think it can handle it. I still very much recommend keeping it installed for its easy to use HUD, which we will begin with.












































Once you have the HUD set up, you can open the actual Life Mod Panel which is where it can get tricky. Just follow the guide, and don't do anything you don't think you should. Trying to over-optimize it CAN end up in the game just looking bad.

Realistic VHS Effect 2 is a much newer mod to the collection that I QUICKLY fell in love with. Being able to customize EVERYTHING about it is very nice. Although not as confusing as Life Mod, nor as performance impactful, having it setup poorly can STILL result in your game looking AWFUL. After understanding this, you can now open the menu and follow along!!! Do keep in mind you have free will and if you don't want to enable this, you don't have to.















































Here in the OSD Menu, it is important to have the Date be Bottom Right, so it can work with the Cinematic Camera's HUD
