Reported for inaccuracy as the villagers are actually working.

do you have a tutorial on changing the skin colors and clothes? if not, would you be willing to do a tutorial? maybe just the steps on how/where to get the little characters (sprites?) and how to save it in the proper format?

I hope the author can figure out a way to have color variations affect random villagers, and would be over the moon if the children born of villagers had a mix of their parents complexions. I think as an American born and raised in the Northeast and surrounded by all different people all the time it feels somehow...not what I see in my life having everyone be just one color. It would be great if modders got together and did a whole retool of the environment and buildings to have the player have the option of having the dark villagers (if the change must be made across the board with no ability to variegate) live in the various regions of Africa. I'll be keeping this mod on standby for now but great work thus far!

I'd like to see more colors. Like Blue smurf or variously colored with tenticle heads like twi'liks. Or green like orcs. I am too lazy to learn to do it meeeeeeself

Looks really cool! I was actually planning to make something similar, but with the changes more extensive (i.e. maybe modify their clothing to a more African look in addition to their skin color).

Great to see this. Is it compatible with the so called "Mesoamerican" mod? (Mesoamerica is pretty much Mexico and Central America, but a lot of Latin American countries share the features portrayed in the mod).

Right now it's all. It is possible to do several colors, though, and I'm working on that. I'm also testing to see what can be done to improve overall variety in things like clothing, etc at the same time.

I suspect he simply replaced the standard villager model with a darker model - so it would be all citizens go dark. But I could be wrong.
