Rosalina and Luma

Description
Rosalina and Luma are a lightweight midrange fighter with great mobility and recovery. Unlike the Smash Bros version of the character, they aren't a puppet fighter but function as more a of a resource based swordie, using Rosalina's wand for many of her normals, and collecting starbits to transform Luma into different tools.

Unique Mechanic: Star Festival
Shooting stars will fall towards Rosalina preiodically breaking into starbits when they land. Starbits can be collected by touching them or by using down special near them, and are used for forward special and luma's transformations. Keep in mind opponents can also pick up starbits.

Neutral Special: Luma Shot
Like in Smash, Rosalina shoots Luma forwards, and the move can be charged to make it travel further and hit harder. The spot it will reach is indicated by the P2 pointer. After Luma is shot, it will stay in that position unless hit by an opponent or called back with down special.

Neutral Special 2: Luma Shop
While Luma is stationary, holding neutral special opens the Luma shop where you can spend the starbits you've collected to make your Luma TRANSFORM! These transformations are only temporary but can be helpful if you know how to use them right.

Pull Star
The least expensive of the transformations, the pull star allows Rosalina to gravitate towards it by holding neutral special and cancel out of it by letting go of the button. This is useful as an alternative recovery option and can also give you a burst of speed with good timing.

Launch Star
The iconic launch star will blast anyone who touches it upwards. It doesn't do any damage but is useful for stage control and even setting up kills off the top.

Life Mushroom
Collecting the life mushroom will heal you of 60 percent damage, making it an option for getting yourself out of kill percents. But be careful, your opponents can also collect it

One-up Mushroom
Collecting enough starbits grants you a chance at gaining a whole new stock. You definitely want to make sure your opponent doesn't nab this one.

Forward Special: Starbit Spray
Rosalina shoots a few starbits forwards, depleting her starbit count. This move is great for covering space and exceptional at edgegaurding. Unlike in Smash, the starbits are always shot from Rosalina rather than Luma. If you run out of starbits, she will swing her wand instead.

Down Special: Gravitational Pull
Rosalina attracts starbits within a radius around her to herself, working similarly to Shovel Knight's neutral special. This move can also call back Luma. When used in the air, the move stops Rosalina's vertical speed allowing for her to mix up her landings.

Up Special: Gravitational Return
Similar to what happens when Mario jumps off the Comet Observatory, Rosalina returns to the last spot she was grounded via an arcing path. This move allows her to go deep for edgeguards but leaves her vulnerable to opponents attacks. Pressing the dodge button during this move will cancel into a freefall state.

Bair and Fair: Air Spin Attack
Both bair and fair (along with ftilt) are Rosalina's version of Super Mario Galaxy's iconic spin attack. This attack gives Rosalina some vertical momentum (but only once per airtime) allowing her to further extend her advantage or mix up her landings and recoveries.

I like the ideas behind this character. The idea of using star bits to make stage control seems really cool. One thing I would say is to add sparkles to the wand swings to make the effect seem more magical and also have the launch star animate when someone goes into it and if Rosa is fired out of it have it leave a Comet trail effect just like how in Mario Galaxy there's a trail from being launched out of launch stars.

In my personal opinion, I think this mod needs heavy modifying... The moves seem slow and janky, the moves don't seem to be all that useful, and while an interesting mechanic, isn't exactly... Well, I personally don't like it like I do in smash bros. You could also improve on the sprites too at some point... While it seems pretty well made, I personally just don't think this one is for me. I'm sure with time though you'll improve things, but I guess just build from there! You got this! You did a pretty good job implementing the luma a bit, maybe give it more actions like in smash ultimate
