TNV Tintagel (Vanillia)

TNV Tintagel is the modernized sistership to Balmoral and is a completely vanilla aircraft carrier, she was designed to float with water V3. Her Turrets are fully functioning and set up. She uses Atmospheric thrusters for propulsion.

Tintagel is an aircraft carrier designed to operate as a quick reaction force. Unlike her sister Balmoral, she has had a majority of her secondary turrets removed and no longer has capabilities to provide light shore bombardment support. In exchange her flight deck has received a major flight deck remodel. Tintagel has an angled flight deck that is actually useful for landing.

Tintagel’s Hanger is taller than her contemporaries to allow her to carry a wider variety of strike craft and helicopters. She has three elevators, One at the front of the hangar, and two starboard side elevators on either side of the bridge.
Along with her air wing the ship was designed to carry a small fleet of boats with storage behind the aft elevator.

TNV Tintagel has been a work in progress since I got some good feedback on Balmoral. The original design was partially inspired by HMS Illustrious, USS Essex and USS Wasp (LDH-1) But the ship itself is uniquely my own.
