the mod breaks lighting for some reason, things that are shiny REALLY shine.

You should've rebuilt the cubemaps on the maps the reason its broken is cause you changed all the lighting and skyboxes. rebuild the cubemaps for the map and repackage it then it'll work,

i cant really use those unless you are subscribed to that addon because that does not exist in hammer i think.

Could you maybe change the skybox to variations of the dark sky from the 2002 Leak skyboxes mod? The ravenholm one doesn't really fit, especially since these chapters take place during daytime.
