The SteamPowered World War

Description
In an alternate history where gasoline engines were never invented, a world war erupted in 1924, fought with steam-powered machines. As the conflict progressed, technology advanced, leading to the development of lightweight metals capable of withstanding extreme pressure.

The MA-1415 debuted on the battlefield in 1927, is the culmination of years of French engineering. Designed as a nimble and highly maneuverable fighter, it featured a lightweight frame and a respectable operating range.

Armament/equipment

- 4 Light autocannon

Specs

Crew: 1
Length: 9.75m
Wingspan: 8.25m
Height (gears up): 2.25
Mass: 2397 kg
Powerplant: 14 small cylinders boxer Engine
Steam Tank: 2x700L at 60Bars

Guide

1- Start the steam generator that spawns with the plane
2- Connect the generator to the plane using the fluid hose and fluid anchors
3- Wait until the plane tanks are filled (about 59-60 bars), in case you do not want to wait a full tank, you need at least about 15 bars in the tank to fligh.
4- Once the tank have enough pressure, you can disconnect the plane and climb inside.
5- Once inside, increase the Engine Buffer Pressure Target, this values needs to be above 10 bars to fligh. Lower values can be use to taxi (like 5 bars).
6- Turn the engine on and wait for the radial indicator to be green
7- Once the radial indicator is green it means the Engine pressure is at least 80% of the targeted pressure, which is enough to start flying.
8- The up/down arrows controls the collective, which is basically your throttle. Below a collective of 0.1 the wheel brakes are engaging. The brake are at their maximum when the collective is at 0
9- Allowing Engine Buffer depressurisation will reduce engine efficiency at is will dump any excess pressure in the buffer. However this allows additional control on the pressure, especially if you want to reduce it, as otherwise you need to wait for it to be used by the engine.

Notes

The creation has some comfort features that are not theme realistic, such as autopilot, but are here to make the experience in stormworks more pleasant
