VScript Dynamic Survivor Flashlights

Description
This addon adds server-sided flashlights for each survivor, so that other players flashlights illuminate the world!
FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING

Compatible with flash light reskins

i think this works better on higher tickrate?

Bugs:
  • you have two flashlights
  • the addon only works 75% of the time, sometimes
  • ~33% of the time you start a map it can cause seizure inducing flashing lights yeah its bad
  • only one flashlight can cast shadows (unless you launch the game from the authoring tools)
  • The viewmodel lighting can be very picky sometimes (this is because i'm trying to avoid glitches with light_dynamic)

how do i not transmit the flash light entity to the owner?

I guess it could help with the player double flashlight bug to have this mod activated only for the bots or other players, leaving the player with the standard flashlight instead. Nevertheless this is cool stuff

i think there is already a mod that does this, but its taken from the E3/Beta l4d2, barely does the same as this one but on a "lite" way, although it seems interesting to test ngl

Is there a chance you'll make a version for the lasersights? (They appear for everyone else but the client's model, mostly a thirdpersonshoulder thing)

@ 爱笑的佐巴扬 Looks like a problem with the source engine itself when a light entity hits a prop, since that problem occurs with the sourcemod flashlight mod too.

NPC's flashlight Will make Object modeling emit light, I hope to fix it.

Yes
I actually had that problem and it was driving me crazy, so I was testing my mods to see if any of them were causing that conflict (although I didn't have any conflicts with any others in my mod list), and it made me even weirder.
Then I read the comments, and a guy typed the same command you mentioned, and that problem was solved for me :)
Also, I got this LITE version, it's lighter and better suited my needs :)
