Christa was born in a needy family and, as a result, during her early childhood everything was passed back and forth between siblings in order to survive. The only thing she called her own was a ragged doll named Mist she had found in a trash bin some 25 years ago. She still holds on to that thing even to this day, when she's financially potent and her black market connections secured some cybernetic enhancements from GMHP.
Dr.Burke's personal notes:
"Life shapes us without us knowing when, how or why, and our friend Mist is the best example. She wants an apple in the middle of the desert and she acquires it. She needs a shirt and she sows one. She craves for some Coq au vin à la Bourguignonne and she'll do anything in her power to have for dinner - to the North Pole. Just don't ask her how she did it."
