Damora Class Destroyer

"Entering service in the years before the RBN invasion of APF space the Damora Class Destroyer, sometimes referred to simply as the D-Class, was intended to make up the bulk of modern APF fleets and ward off the RBN threat. Being larger and more well armed than their predecessors Damoras were equipped to handle many tasks. They could serve as frontline warships with their battery of 4 Artillery turrets, 4 Assault cannon turrets, and 4 Gatling turrets, as well as a spinal Railgun. This mixed armament also made them well suited for escort duty although other less capable craft such as minks and caladons were often first picked for this duty so as to let the more capable D-Class handle frontline operations. The mobility of the D-Class was also impressive, being a very nimble warship as well as carrying a jump drive enabling it to cross great distances with ease. D-Class vessels would see active service throughout the war and long after as the backbone of APF fleets thanks to their simple yet reliable design."
