Better Explosive Tag™

Description
The "explosive" tag in Teardown appearently makes things instantly explode no matter what the object hits, if carried by the player and thrown, this sucks!

Introducing Better Explosive Tag™

Better Explosive Tag™ rids the world of this pesky stinky tag that ruins my (read: your) morning, afternoon, evening and night; substituting it for a mod script handler of this explosive event only and only if the explosive body or shape is actually broken by the voxel strength system that Teardown came with! What a novel idea!

lOcIEe, the creator and publisher of Better Explosive Tag™, their subsidiaries or
co-conspirator(s) partner(s) take no responsibilities in the event that:
  • Your house is in the direct or collateral path of any explosive object or its debris.
  • The world ends as a result of any explosive objects or its debris.
  • Your cat requires feeding and no available food is sufficient for your designated feline overlord.
  • Your teacup is knocked off your table, its contents spilled across your brand new white un-washable carpet.

elimatthew15, stop being a dense child and actually read the description. This mod fixes an oversight with explosion TAGS, internal coding elements the game uses and applies to explosive objects, it does not affect explosion graphics, power or add anything to the game.

Does this do anything to the explosions itself? If so idk if I'm trippin or what but don't notice any changes

finally, this is going to make it so much easier to steal the substation core

@Archimetropolis Well, technically there are mods that can be made for this game using no code at all. ex. A simple spawnable vehicle, a playable character.

But you wouldn't be able to handle explosions for the game without it.

@MK this simply takes existing "explosive" tags and its value, removes it so the basegame handler can't do any funky things when it is thrown and handles the explosion only if the entity actually breaks.
