Introducing Day Number 24, the ’Festive Colony’

WARNING 1: This world can be performance intensive for lower end PCs, please use low graphics if that is the case.

WARNING 2: Some of the builds in this world are unfinished due to either time constraints or performance reasons.

- Lore -

“In the wake of a cataclysmic event at the centre of the universe, a rift in time and space tore through the very fabric of reality. This new tear in reality connected different universes, generating a tremendous amount of energy, and became a beacon for explorers, scientists, mega-corporations and opportunists alike in their respective realms.
Recognising the potential for both peril and prosperity, various factions from these different universes set aside their differences to collaborate on an ambitious project: the construction of a complex set of stations on an asteroid field near the exit of this new frontier.

Frostfall Station stands as a testament of the ingenuity and creativity of its creators, making the most of the new natural resources found in the tear as well as transporting resources and supplies from their own galaxies. It’s still being developed as more and more factions appear in the Rift.
"

- Description -

This world was provided via an event ran over the course of a forty five. Creators were given options between plots in various asteroids (Nexus, Commercial, Drydock, Industrial and Corporate), and asked to create a themed build that would result in a full station.

The world features over 50 different builds from 42 different builders and workshop creators, as well as dozens of vehicles, props, lore entries, Easter eggs and secret locations. Despite the calendar historically being no DLC, we've decided to lift this in order to maximise creativity (and minimise laggy subgrid substitutes) - despite this the world is just as functional to non DLC owners as it is to DLC owners; so you can enjoy no matter what extra content you own.

- Features -

This world features five main stations, on five individual asteroids, all connected by three live rail-lines (to activate them please follow the instructions on the console screens). The world is designed for you to start at one station, take the train around, explore each asteroid, then wait for the next carriage to arrive so you can visit the next station.

- Credits -

- Massive thanks to Trashbag for Server hosting and management as well as the majority of the planning.

- Also a huge thanks to Indy, Shiro and Allied for all their massive efforts in working on the main stations and miriad of other plots day and night at Commercial, Recreational and Drydock and across the other areas, as well as the base functions of the world such as the Trains. You guys carried hard, thank you so much!

We've hit the limit for characters in the description, so to check out the credits and a small guide/tour to the world, please look at this guide!:

- Authors Notes -

Its honestly astonishing to me that this many creators were able to get on for the world, especially such talented creators and builders. I want to give a massive thanks to everyone who's supported and helped out over the past couple of months, as well as to you the subscriber for subscribing/following along.

A lot of the original design concepts were inspired by the Keen Sparks of the Future Station, so a massive shout out to the concept designers and creators of that map.

We hope you have a merry Christmas, and a happy new year, and enjoy the build :)

- [Omega], Trashbag, Indy, Shiro, Allied, Yoshi and everyone else here!

I would've thought that there were many buttons around given how many people were doing stuff with them? Maybe you've missed them or something?

I had to turn my graphics settings way down. Exploring would be a lot easier if there were buttons to open most of the hangar doors.
