Rome era Seire

This mod is the first part of a Mod series called "Rome Era". The main objective of these mods is to reproduce the most important events of Roman history.

LOADING ORDER:
1-Realistic Campaign
2-Chapter
3-All the other required mods
4- Extremely recommended ( but optional) for economy, food and technologies: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=396015150&searchtext=radious

Historical Context:

Thir punic war:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Punic_War

Achaean War:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achaean_War

First and Second Servile War:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servile_Wars

Cimbrian war:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cimbrian_War

Changelog:

1- Roman units, emperors and generals total reskin. Celtic, iberian and german reskin.

2- Size increased( Startpos and campaign,Melee infantry 400, missile infantry 300, cavalry 120)

3- Accurate city names and walled cities from AE.

4- Diplomatic effects have been changed so now small factions will respect bigger ones, getting into deals easily. This wants to reproduce the real situation of the epoch where the small barbarian kingdoms tended to respect the more powerful Rome even if they had periodic wars. All roman factions share culture so as well with the other diplomatic changes you could be able to join another roman faction wihout conquering entirely.

5- Ai improvement, more changeling campaign where the Ai will be more aggressive. Nevertheless, this in hand with point 4 will reproduce in global, harder wars with the Ai but less common. So to win a war against will be harder than in vanilla but you will have wars with fewer factions( if you use diplomatics wisely)

6- 4 turns per year

7- New battle system with more realistic morale system as well as slower combat. The spacing of the German factions has been increased and the one of the Romans decreased, trying to reproduce a more historically accurate situation. I have just transpose one of my battle mods to this one, you can see the entire battle changelog here:

https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2204246229&searchtext=realistic

8- Roman basic sword units can be recruited in regular cities and towns, and all of them have attacking testudo ability. Roman spear units limited. Auxiliary gallic units are also limited.

9- Scripted wars

Recomended alternative music mod:

Jugurtha is in this but I think his Age is off by a decade or so (37 instead of ca. 18). Not sure it has an ascension questline or if you might make that era on the GC instead. Having a go as the Migration for the Cimbri and Teutons would also be a nice starting option and ultimately the culmination of both those threats with some of the lost battles of the romans and the greek dilemma could make this era quite special with the onset of the first hordes, bribery and forum betrayals and having to manage the early onset of management issues that lead to the first Civil Wars.

you have a submod with vanilla formations

I've played the NTW chapters, my only gripe with them is the spacing between the models in the units. They feel too loose for the amount of guys in a single unit. As a result, at least for me, the units feel too small for how many men are in them. Aside from that, the actual battles feel really nice to play through and the Campaign feels good as well.

Thanks, man! I really appreciate it. But right now, I'm more focused on the NTW chapters. I've already completed the Napoleonic era (1792–1815) and the Victorian era (1833–1870), and now I'm working on the Enlightenment era (1700–1789). So, I'm not sure if I could do more for the Roman era apart from the two I've already mentioned.

I personally hope you go up to at least the middle Palaiologian era with these mods. Your mods are the first ones I really started with on attila and have the second most play time with. Aside from 1212.

im not sure of it, right now my idea is to make chapters XX and III.1 and probably no more

How far up do you intend to cover with these mods? Like, are you going to 1453 or just up to 1204?

Thanks! To fix the food use radius, as it is recommended:

About nameless generals not sure if i can fix, maybe in the future

I uninstalled and reinstalled, it's working now. I just wanted to say I love these mods you are working on such a cool concept. One piece of feedback, I've noticed in a few of them that there are a lot of nameless generals and the food is heavily negative to start, I saw somewhere you said you are polishing some of them so you already probably know. Keep it up these are awesome.
