Description
Replaces the vortigaunts with their retail counterpart that released in 2004.


NOTE: This does not replace the animations nor Uriah, this should be compatible with the episodic content.

@agrimar It's possible you can modify the vortiguant model to be working properly with episode 2? if so I would like that please

Yea, it's possible they added something to the model just for that animation to keep her attached, but I'd have to look deeper into it and if desired I could modify it some EP2 features.

In ep 2, after alyx gets injured and the vortigaunt picks her up, her model disappears. Is this because the og model was made before ep 2 and that it's not compatible?

There's a bug with expansion swapping that results in the wrong scripts being loaded in.

If you encounter Vortigaunts unable to speak:
Pick HL2 and restart your game to ensure the right scripts are loaded.

I wouldn't be able to say what's going on in your game, if the AI is disabled they won't talk either (which can happen with old or outdated node graphs); this addon is only a model and can't change how you interact with the vorts, you can check the VPK yourself.
