Description
The LSS Splitfleet is a light scouting submarine with a very experimental design, actually consisting of two submarines: Splitfleet Alpha and Splitfleet Bravo. This design allows it to either operate as a single submarine, with superior reactor performance, engine speed and gun coverage, or it can split apart allowing it to cover more ground while sacrificing firepower. Originally it was designed as a more expensive tier 1 submarine with a slightly larger size, although over the course of several field-tests it proved to have a surprisingly high casualty rate due to several crews either attempting to pilot one of the parts into a cave and getting stuck, or taking one of the parts out of radio range, running out of power shortly before disappearing into the abyss. As a result the design changed to become more compact, effectively allowing a single experienced captain to pilot either of the Splitfleet's two parts. It was also upgraded with additional quality-of-life features such as backup power arrays, enhanced reactors and engines as well as an extra hardpoint on each of the parts, which turned the complete submarine into a cheaper tier 2. Its also the first submarine designed by by Vulcat Shipyards after its founding, each of the two parts being designed by one of the two founders.

Submarine specifications:
- Tier: 2
- Dimensions:
- Complete: 38x14 Meters
- Alpha: 18x7 Meters
- Bravo: 20x7 Meters
- Reccomended crew size: 2 - 6 (1 - 3 for each of the two parts)
- Reccomended crew experience: experienced
- Price: 8 875 MK

Known issues:
- When both parts are connected, bots may struggle to move between the two parts. This has been attempted fixed countless times, with minimal results. Keeping the hatches between the two parts open should allow them to pass through without issues.
- Due to how Barotrauma handles docked submarines/shuttles, only the top part (Alpha) will show up when previewing the submarine.

If you discover any additional issues, feel free to comment them below with reproduction steps and we may look into fixing them if possible.

This has been a very interesting submarine to work on. What started as a simple idea for a submarine that could split apart combined with the urge to make a smaller submarine after the literal moving station that was the Conqueror, resulted in this. After a bit of brainstorming, Sonadro designed Alpha, I designed Bravo and later fixed up both parts to ensure they functioned well both together and separately. It also resulted in the "founding" of Vulcat Shipyards, which is basically going to be the name we'll be releasing future submarines under.
