Immersive Vampire Reskin 2.0

Description
This is a port of my WH2 reskin of the same name, with a few upgrades. The purpose of the mod is to give vampires a more consistent appearance, because Vampire Coast/Counts, Mannfred, Isabella and Vlad all having different eyes and at times living human skin tone has always been a pet peeve of mine.

Lorewise, it's just as loreful to have vampires sport all red as it is for them to have differently styled eyes, Vampire Counts army books state that Vampires maintain their appearances through Dark Magic and only when coming under duress does the facade go away, but they also state that their eyes turn red (and skin pale) upon becoming a vampire so there it is.

Vampire Coast and Vampire Counts now have consistently red eyes, and this extends to vampire-derived species, like Varghulfs and Vargheists, and even to Crypt Horrors which have been fed vampire blood. They also have paler complexions, some were almost there in vanilla and some were human toned (Ulrika).

I've also increased visual variety of Varghulfs and Terrorgheists (and given the Vargheist RoR a new paint job) based off of tabletop color schemes I enjoyed.

The Vampire Counts have many popular mods in the community, I have made this mod compatible with some of them, such as Beautiful Female Vampires and Konrad von Carstein (Lords of the Night) you still need to be subscribed to those mods for them to display properly and have this one loaded above it.

I also have a separate compatibility mod for the ones I couldn't make work in this one, you can check that out here: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3355417767

Vampire Lord/Von Carstein Bloodline Lord have bugged shields, this is on the game, not me, so be sure to be subscribed to the Visual Bug Fix mod if that bothers you.

All the beasts in this mod have 4K textures, credit of I LIVE AGAIN, as I began work on this mod way back at the end of WH2's life cycle. I have a feeling the rest of the vampire cast will get a texture touch-up by CA when their rework comes, if not the Warhammer 1 Texture Update Project will surely get to vampires sooner or later.

Credit to Xoudad for his Konrad mod, Ashen for the Beautiful Female Vampires mod and all the Legion of Nagash modders for their work on that mod.

For best compatibility, load this mod above anything else you have that's vampire related. This mod does not affect Vlad's sword glow, I have it turned off for screenshot purposes.

And if there are a few mad lads out there inclined to contribute to my Arabyan coffee and Slaaneshi stripper fund, Marienburg funny money is accepted and appreciated!

It's outdated but it will still work. Visual mods will generally work even while being outdated as they're just texture changes, not really altering essential data tables that mess with the game's function.

@GunKing
you mean that reskin from yogo pogo?
is that one not outdated?
wasn't that reskin last updated almost 3 years ago?
does it still work for you?

@Khazukan Kazakit-ha!
I'm a little too busy for that these days, but I do use the the Festus reskin that gives him more muted/darker colors, I think he looks more fitting that way.

can you do a reskin for festus the chinlord?
he looks like a cartoon character, for me atleast.

No worries whatsoever, thanks for being so detailed on it. I will certainly give it a shot as I do have some experience with it. Might also give making a custom card a crack and seeing if I can't hard overwrite the current one and plug that into it, but my artistic skills are wanting in all truth, so we shall see haha. Thanks again!

Yeah that's an oversight on my end. I can't readily fix it because the Tabletop Blood Knights mod uses the same file names as the vanilla ones and at this point a good amount of people expect the mod to do what it does, so I'm reticent to remove them. Ideally the creator of that mod could change those file names but I haven't reached out to him for that yet, not sure how responsive he is. But yeah if you're familiar with RPFM, just load the mod's packfile in that and delete the Blood Knight related files from that compatibility mod and you'll be good

Ahh damn, well fair enough, though it is a shame. Well thanks to both of you for your hard work anyway! Really is great stuff. Maybe one day it will be easier to make it happen with new tools, but I think that might be like waiting for rain in a desert!

I did also want to ask regarding the Tabletop Blood Knights in your sub-mod. I know the description says that the 'required mods' in that pack are not actually required, but when I drop "Tabletop Blood Knights" my Blood Dragon lord's head disappears haha, unsure about the cav unit itself but I can check if you'd like. Main issue for me is the model and the unit card look completely different hence my attempt to drop it. Is that something I have somehow broken on my end?

Thanks!

@COOKI3
Thanks! Unfortunately that's one of those 'comes with the territory' type things, it is technically possible to update the unit card, I've done similar work in the past on my own mods, but it involves changing a bunch of data tables on Schlossy's end as well as utilizing a 3rd party program for custom portraits, and I didn't want to ask that of him, especially when he was generous enough to rename certain things in his mod so we could get the Isabella model compatibility with this one.
COOKI3 7 May @ 6:52am
@GunKing Great mod, been using it for ages! I have just seen that you have included the Schlossy's Isabella reskin, that is music to my ears as I have been using both but just lived with her being a bit out of place. Just did some testing and it seems like there is not yet a custom unit card for Schlossy's model? So it is being overwritten by the usual one within this mod, Do you have any plans to implement a red eyed variant of Schlossy's card in future? Thanks very much!
