THIS MOD HAS ITS OWN MUSIC, IT IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH MODS THAT CREATE MUSIC BASED ON COMBAT AS THIS MOD DOES THAT FOR EACH THREAT LEVEL

A dynamic system that calculates the skill, capabilities, health, of enemies around you to give you a probability of death and set a corresponding situation threat level.

Having resistance based allies reduces the threat level, both your health and your allies health is also taken into account in the calculation.

There are 3 threat levels (and a hidden fourth level which you can find yourself)
  • CAUTION - Notable danger, you can survive if careful.
  • FEAR - Extreme danger, margins are thin but you can survive if skilled enough.
  • DEATH - Death is imminent, you will die at a moments notice.

This mod comes directly from and takes assets from Lobotomy Corporation.

It is likely incompatible with any combat based music mod like Nombat due to it playing its own music based on threat level. I will add the ability to turn this off and change the threat levels of enemies (as well as add players, set their threat level and whether they are hostile or friendly) in the future. For now please bear with it.

CVARS
threatlevel_enabled 1 threat_level_radius 6000 -- Detection radius around you. It is recommended to use unaware strength instead to lower the threat of enemies in distance. threat_level_unaware_strength 0.7 -- Threat weight weakener for enemies that are not currently targeting you or aware of you. threat_level_weightmult 1.500 -- DANGEROUS: Sensitive multiplier for enemy threat weights. Use this only if you know what you're doing and intend to fine tune. threat_level_tracing 0 -- Performs a check on whether the threat is within line of sight or not. Can be expensive in big battles, insignificant for decent computers. Off by default. threat_level_traceblockmult 0.7 -- Threat weight weakener for enemies that are not currently in your line of sight, recommended for campaigns or smaller / local battles. threatlevel_hud_x 20 threatlevel_hud_y 20 threatlevel_music_enabled 1 -- Only prevents new music from playing if set to 0, tracks already playing will continue.

Only takes into account the default NPCs, as in the statement above, customizing and adding enemies to the threat level system will come in the near future (hopefully).
