FAQ
Q: Is the S.A.F.S not supposed to take damage? Ive had it for a very long time now and never have had it take damage.
SAFS is actually the first exosuit and wearable item in Barotrauma that takes damage. If you check the change notes and description, you'll find details about its development.
Q: How to repair the S.A.F.S?
The game has a mechanic called "Repair Threshold" Once the suit's condition falls below that threshold, using the wrench will successfully repair it.
Q: Where do I find the Manual?
Head to the Research Station to buy the manual.
Q: How do I craft things in SAFS mod?
Read the Manual thoroughly (100%) to get the extra talent!-> gather the required resources -> load your materials into the Fabricator-> you’re all set!
Q: The mod isn’t working.
I recommend resetting your mod list and reviewing your setup.
Q: I feel like the new arm attachments drain the fuel rod way too fast.
Trying different fuel types like Thorium Fuel Rods might help with fuel consumption.
Q: I can't figure out how the ExoJet works.
While in water, hold RMB, then press and hold LMB to activate ignition. Use the keys to navigate.
Q: How does the ExoShield work?
When running towards the enemy with your shield in hand, press LMB to knock them down.
Q: Why does the nanochips lose condition?
This is intentional. It is part of the overheating system.
Q: Why are some comments being removed from the page?

Upd: somehow limbs take damage during airlock cycle. Guess i have to readress the issue to NT devs.

Its not built around Neurotrauma, somebody who knows Neurotrauma and Lua would have to create patch for it.

Hi. Been using this mod with NT cybernetics and had my waterproof cybernetic legs and lungs damaged during a dive past 3500m during a brief swim to get minerals. What is the max safe depth for this suit, or does it have some conflicts with NT and alike?

If they're to add mobile suit skins they'd be better off adding something like the "Hygogg" as it is an amphibious mobile suit although I'd love a "Zaku II" skin, Seig Zeon!.
