Casual Mode is a new custom difficulty, and is selected just like any other difficulty. It's the same as the Normal difficulty, but you're given the option to try again from the starting room of the floor if you die. If you choose to be revived, you will be given a boost to your lowest stat (Consolation Prize) and a HP-up + small heal (Breakfast). Because this mod uses REPENTOGON, this is a true revive, meaning you'll be able to continue your run afterwards with no jank if you exit it.

Isaac is a wonderful game, but it is hard. I like the idea of being able to enjoy fun runs, even if you struggle with the game, or have a slow reaction speed. I hope the mod can help more people get into the game, and allow people who just want to unwind to play more casually.
