(IIN) Nautilon Class Light Cargo Hauler

Built to fill the needs of any light mercantile traders, the Nautilon was retrofitted with a light point defense grid to serve as a military light cargo hauler. Its decent fuel and cargo capacity allow it to make fairly long trips between outposts, but its lack of a jump drive may relegate it to a more passive role. It best functions as a light support vessel within a fleet, carrying repair supplies for long haul missions.

In game, the Nautilon is a great starter ship for shorter hauling missions. It is survival friendly for newer saves, and can definitely be useful in moving supplies between bases and stations. The lack of a jump drive may mean it doesn't function best for economy missions, but it *can* be used for these. It also lacks the standard economy docking arrangement, but it can connect to economy stations.
