SNOWGATE is a small harbour town in a cold region, situated in a small coastal plain, adjacent to tall and steep mountains.

Warmsprings make life more agreeable here, through the cold weather.

Long ago, this place was a fortification. Remnants of this older time may be found in various states of ruin. Some people retain the older traditions of a bygone era.

Outside the walls of the main town, small hamlet communities and farmsteads have grown around the scattered warmsprings.
