This is technically a Windows Guide but check the Sources tab and go on SteamDB and choose MacOS/Linux if you use them.
Open the Steam Console
Open a command window by pressing "Win + R" and enter the command: steam://open/console — then press Enter.

Or Put

steam://open/console






In your Browser
Accessing your Steam Depots (Older Versions of games)
Open

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps

(If you do not see it, its because you havent downloaded any depots yet.)
and youll See the "Content" Folder, that is where the old versions of the games you download.


and youll see folders of the game you download

named "app_(number)"

@imjusttrashlol I was able to fix this problem, all I needed was to copy the text from the Internet archive from the Subtitles_En folder of the desired version, paste it into the version downloaded via Steam, and that’s it.

@akio, that's because prior to V0.11 the game used a different way to save high scores in endless. Tbh, I think the guy that made this guide should write about any potential data loss.

@imjusttrachlok that's probably because subtitles_en.json is either broken in old versions, or doesn't exist in general

@akio it's not gone, don't worry, the game just can't remember that you completed the tutorial, since there wasn't a tutorial back then.

does anyone know why the text is acting weird? like instead of "challenge mode" on the challenges button it shows "BUT_ChallengeMode"

@Waffle_guy99 download the new version of BB+ go to the folder that the new version is in, drag it into a different folder if you want to download multiple because it will replace the same folder with a different version of the game that you download from the steam console. also just READ what i put at the very top of the guide and youll see what you need to do
