描述
An official port of the Raising the Bar: Redux arsenal to Garry's Mod.

Featuring:
  • Reasonably faithful, high quality ports of a majority of the RTB:R weapons
  • Fully functional in multiplayer
  • Support for Sandbox and TTT gamemodes
  • Custom ammotypes for some weapons+ Corresponding ammo pickups
  • Viewmodel hands support (c_hands)

Included weapons, currently up to Division 3:
  • Crowbar
  • Stun Baton
  • Tau Cannon
  • USP Match
  • Alyxgun
  • Python
  • Flare Gun
  • MP7A1
  • AKM
  • XM29 OICW
  • SPAS-12
  • Annabelle
  • Steambow
  • Frag Grenade

Notes:
  • Some weapons use a Tertiary Fire to scope in/out. For now this is hardcoded to mouse3/middle mouse button.
  • For weapons that don't have ammo pickups, middle click them in the spawn menu to get more ammo.

The maximum thickness surface that the Tau Cannon's alt-fire can go through. Currently buggy/inconsistent.

The Tau Cannon alt-fire charges much faster, like in HLDM.

rtbr_steambow_selfdmg
Steambow alt-fire AoE deals damage to its owner.

Excluded weapons:
  • Immolator: turned out to be a technical nightmare, so i decided to cut it. didn't want to bring down the overall quality of the addon with a buggy and unpolished weapon. might revisit at some point.
  • Bugbait: has no purpose in gmod.

I wonder if you'll make the Combine Guard gun? It technically appeared in Division 1, although it wasn't used.

oh it was because of the entropy zero 2 displacer pistol that made the flaregun textures horrible

Just wondering if you could make the python less "shiny" if that makes sense. Everything else is really great, I love everything about this mod. I like the dirtiness of the guns but for some reason the python is really shiny. I don't know if that's a problem on my end or not. You really did a great job however!! :steamthumbsup:

As for a suggestion about weapon damage...

I wonder if you could include "sk_plr_dmg" commands for all of the weapons like how HL2's weapons have them? It could allow people to configure the damage values to their liking.

I wonder if you could possibly change the MP7A1 a little bit so that it's notably accurate on single shots before accuracy degradation kicks in?

They are no muzzle flash for third person or when someone else is looking at you.
