The Sinking Town

The floating towns, with higher need for defenses, gave funding for bolder technologies. A new technique from a young inventor was explored with relative success : hiding a whole town beneath the waves for improved defense and discretion. By making the whole town out of metal and brass, this town managed to stay watertight even several meters deep into the water. Many new technologies had to be developed to fit the new technology to the usual floating town lifestyle. The Sinking Town is also responsible for the creation of guided torpedoes, which require a courageous pilot willing to plant a bomb beneath the enemy ship.
