Mercenary Galaxy: Argon vs Zyarth

Description
Mercenary Galaxy: Argon vs Zyarth, is the first in a series of mods pitting factions against each other in a controlled scenario.

This mod focuses on the Argon Federation and Zyarth Patriarchy. The 2 factions face each other in a 17 sector galaxy with close to equal starting positions and assets.

The Mercenary Guild was added to provide the player with well-paying fight missions from a 3rd party, so you can fight both sides of the conflict and still get payed when completing your missions.
The missions respawn after a specific period of time after cancellation or completion.

Every destroyed ship will give you X number of points and you have to gather XX number of points to get the mission reward. You will see your progress bar with an active mission. You will get different amount of points depending of the equipment installed on a ship and size (overall ship value). You can see the faction military status in the main mission.

Ideas for missions to add are welcome.

@sir_avenger currently there is a bug in the mod that disables the faction ceremonies in the custom start, I will try to upload a fix on Friday

how can you buy new weapons/ships? Even with rank 25 or more to ARG, ZYA and MRG i don't get promoted or can talk to the faction leaders. I'm stuck to the starting equipment.

I was always a fan of the warfare and fleet actions in the base-game moreso than the trading and economics (blasphemy, I know), so I really like this idea. One thing I would suggest is to really juice the opposing forces fleets and push the numbers of active combatants in any given battle. Since we aren't simulating the entirety of the universe and the uninvolved factions, this should mean that the moment-to-moment performance of set-piece battles will be way better than they are in vanilla. If you could somehow finagle a way to make a custom game start with this where you can pick which factions you want to be duking it out, that would be awesome. In lieu of that, I'd love a classic Terran vs. Argon version of this set in the border sectors.

Very fun idea. Reminds me of Starcraft Broodwar, custom scenarios. My idea suggestion would be hide and seek. Only a few Sectors, the Player has to get themselves or escort others through enemy territory. The enemy is superior in numbers and firepower. (would be even cooler if the enemy ships had limited radar, like only half radar distance, or only forward radar. But I don't know anything about code.)
