Hide Player Names

@_Clag_ Try disabling all of your other mods. Close game. Right click 'Left 4 Dead 2' in Steam > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.

Relaunch the game, reset game/graphics options, enable only this mod (or try another). Close and reopen game and ensure only this mod is active. Try playing single-player and see if the mod works. If it does, slowly enable other mods and return your settings back you had before in small batches until there is a conflict.

If it somehow doesn't work, you skipped steps or there is a deeper core system issue.

Someone help me. Either I'm doing something wrong or this game is just fundamentally flawed. These player names constantly get in the way of aiming and are hugely distracting. I don't play realism and only play normal mode campaign. I've tried every mod I can and I've never been able to get this to work. The names still appear if I look near the player which totally defeats to point, the name tags are in the way and I can't aim at stuff behind the text.

Literally wanted this problem sorted for years.

I don't understand why is there no boolean variable or option to hide the player name without changing text or anything.
