The Wretched King is benevolent, in a way. He served his kingdom with great pride and love, until the day he was raided, and subsequently, executed.

His crime? Refusing to marry the wife of a neighbouring kingless land. Barbarians, he thought, and he was proved right.
The last thing he thought about, before the noose tightened, is how he would not rest until his enemy was dead.
He did not rest.
Now, his vision is troubled, and everything seems wrong. His crown rusted, his staff's energy blocked by Sharp wings, he still sees himself in his throne room, defending his people. Although he is not aware you are not the enemy, there is no convincing to be done.
