Mod Description
This mod adds all the different factions from the first F.E.A.R. game with some of the weapons & units from the expansion & sequiles to help fill them out. Best described as rainbow six meets ghost busters, They try to kill ghosts with guns & have canonically failed every operation we know that they've been sent on.


Replica Forces:
The Replica are clone super soldiers designed by Armacham Technology Corporation under the auspices of Project Origin / Perseus, top secret experiments "born" out of the communications struggle the US military was having in Vietnam between soldiers and command. It used an extremely powerful psionic as a breeder to create potential psychic commanders. The Replicas were raised in response to a Department of Defense directive for Armacham to develop genetically-engineered super soldiers that could be telepathically controlled. They have no special Psionic abilities, aside from their ability to receive orders, but their considerable special military training (or, more accurately, programming) is good enough to compete with top tier special forces, and when combined with their large numbers along with advanced ATC weaponry they win against them in most cases. In conflicts between human ATC security forces and the Replicas, the Replicas easily out-flank and annihilate their enemies due to their superbly fast reflexes, mobility, and excellent accuracy. They are incapable of higher though without a psychic link to a commander and are programmed to "shut down" without a link, standing in a trance-like state, the slight swaying of their bodies & their breathing being the only sign to signify that they are still alive.


ATC Security Forces:
Armacham Security Forces are private security personnel and specialized defense technologies used to protect the assets of Armacham Technology Corporation. Due to the sensitive nature of the organization, it has invested a good deal of money into making sure its assets don't leak out or fall into the wrong hands. Many of the agendas of the company also fall outside the legal range of the government, which is where the security forces and hired mercenaries come into play. They are responsible for silencing any witnesses or employees that the company deems a threat to their operations. The combat skills and competence of the ATC forces range from skilled operatives with advanced gear and elite military training to the average hired gun with itchy trigger fingers. Being normal human beings, they are less coordinated than the Replica Forces and as such, were losing to the more organized and better trained Replica troops. They are responsible for silencing any witnesses or employees that the company deems a threat to their operations.


Delta Force:
The U.S. Army's 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (SFOD-D/Delta Force)
The primary mission objective of both Delta and the F.E.A.R. unit is capturing Paxton Fettel, commander of the Replica Forces. Multiple Delta Force teams would be deployed with various tasks such as assisting the F.E.A.R. unit or Investigating the disturbances at Armacham HQ. But despite Delta Force's reputation as an elite commando unit, they would seem to have met their match with Alma & the highly skilled and heavily armed Replica bio-engineered clone super soldiers. As the situation in Auburn quickly deteriorated with many teams missing in action or dead, the central coordinator was reluctant to send in more. Following the nuclear explosion shortly after, the scattered groups of Delta Force survivors in the city would be tasked to rendezvous with the remaining F.E.A.R operators at the Auburn Memorial Hospital for extraction, though the extraction would be a complete failure with few survivers.


F.E.A.R:
The First Encounter Assault Recon was formed during 2002 as a covert branch of the United States Army's Special Forces to defend various national security interests against threats of a paranormal or supernatural nature, most notably Psionics. As such, F.E.A.R. and its select few operatives are rarely taken seriously, given the unbelievable nature of what they fight against. Regardless, F.E.A.R. is an elite unit and has the perogative to take military assets from other military branches such as the Air Force and the US Army. They have permission to use deadly force and heavy weapons against perceived threats, such as Replica soldiers, ATC Security Guards and, fittingly, Alma's supernatural enemies.


Questions & Answers
Q: What is a alive faction mod?
A: It is a mod made using the ALiVE mod, all done ingame. It replaces the base units default loadout on spawn & initialization with the loadouts I have created, that is why you need the mod if you with to make changes. see last pic above to find out how.

Q: What maps did you use for the pics?
A: stratis

Q: How do i adjust how many hits they take?
A: Its in the addon options, see 2nd last pic

Q: WHY SO MANY MODS?
A: Mostly guns & gear. The real fear is the mod count.

Known Bugs & Issues
- SL8 / G2A2 is semi-auto only
- Mod says it requires age of darkness but it doesn't

TREPANG2 is basically the spiritual successor to F.E.A.R. but not made by the same developers.Looking forward to your Doom mod!

sadly no as theres no real f.e.a.r assets so had to get creative to pull of everything form the game, that said if you don't need every unit & gun from the game you can remove 33-50% of the mods depending on what you do/ don't want. AC9 mod only used for the rare SM15, the alienz mod is only used for the Type-7 Particle Weapon, the Masque mod is only used for the snipers & elites ballistic masks, ext ext.
