Description
Adds SETI as a new modern world wonder to gain an edge in the space race.

"Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying." - Arthur C. Clarke.

The search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) is a collective term for scientific searches for intelligent extraterrestrial life, for example, monitoring electromagnetic radiation for signs of transmissions from civilizations on other planets. Many scientific experts and lay people alike have been fascinated by the question if we are alone or if other intelligent life could be out there, and more importantly, within reach to interact with. Scientific investigation began shortly after the advent of radio in the early 1900s, and focused international efforts have been ongoing since the 1980s.

In 2012, after almost 35 years of travel, the Voyager 1 probe crossed the heliopause at 121 AU and entered interstellar space, becoming the first human-made object to exit the solar system. Aboard it carries the Voyager Golden Record, a time capsule which contains sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth, and is intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life form who may find them. In 2015, scientists at an annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science discussed Active SETI and whether transmitting a message to possible intelligent extraterrestrials in the cosmos was a good idea. That same week, a statement was released, signed by many in the SETI community, that a "worldwide scientific, political and humanitarian discussion must occur before any message is sent".

Who knows what we will find out there? Will you make first contact and learn about shortcuts for your exoplanet expedition while slowing down your opponents by having them take additional safety precautions?

Good mod :D. More Buildings!

I did double check, so unless both the map yield icons and the tile tooltip are lying, it's +10 of both. It's probably another mod then. No idea which one, since I play with a bunch.

Works fine for me, double check if those tiles actually got +10 and not just +5. If not, maybe another mod is interfering.

From what I've seen this gives all adjacent tiles +10 science and faith regardless of whether they're improved or not. Not a huge issue but figured I'd point it out.

I don't balance around some game modes tbh, and without Vampire Castles I feel like any smaller yields won't really be notable that late in the game.

I've tried this thing out in a few rounds now, and i think the enemy slow down is too strong i would only keep the boost to your own speed to make it balanced, Also the yield should be tunes down to 3 science and 3 faith (thought about this for a long time) but if you use this with a vamp castle and a preserve and such stuff its gets very very funny op very very fast ^^
But i love model and the idea itself, so i thought i might spill my ideas here :)

Oh right, overlooked that one. Fixed it, thanks.

I think there is an error in the Steam description.
+2 housing, +1 amenity and 5% growth boost are bonuses from El Atlo if I remember correctly.
Apart from this small mistake, as usual, your mod is fantastic.
P.S.
Looking forward to the mysterious Savnnah mod
