Description
"Tailoring may not seem like the most useful skill when the world has ended. Most people wouldn't expect a simple tailor to live very long. This is your opportunity to prove them wrong."

this mod depends on profession framework to function correctly, get it from here: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1343686691
this is a fork of the mod "tailor job" by TKOTDS, which can be found here: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3171700350

i have reduced the point cost of the job from -6 to -2 and have increased the given tailoring skill from 2 to 6. i have also given the tailor a level in short blade and maintenance, and have added a strength penalty of -1.
the tailor begins the game with a sewing kit complete with various tools and materials. your starting gear as a tailor should be enough to fully clothe a person, but you won't have a high enough tailoring skill to fully repair clothes yet.
please enjoy, and feel free to edit and reupload this mod as you desire.

so there is a small problem with my implementation of the dextrous trait into this profession, the trait can be deselected while the profession is selected and i don't know how to make it not be that way. i might end up just not giving the tailor the dextrous trait. i practice tailoring irl as a hobby and i'm not very fast at packing things into packs or retrieving things from drawers so not having the trait doesn't bother me personally. i will set the point cost back to -2 and keep the level of maintenance that i have added. an update is coming out in the next few minutes.

i don't know how to give traits to a profession but i'll look into adding dextrous to this because that sounds like a great idea. i might give the profession one level in maintenance, i feel like two levels would be too strong. one level is on par with chef and burger flipper. with those stats and the trait i'll have to bump up the cost to -4 to maintain balance though. i hope you feel comfortable with that.

btw modding in this game is basically just editing text files, i don't know anything about coding and even i can get a basic hang of things. try figuring it out, it's pretty fun.

maintenance is for weapons, not clothes. if there was a skill that would affect clothing degradation i'd give it some points into that but maintenance is a no. you could make your own version of this, it's pretty easy to edit. also, wdym by "skilled"?
