Description
Ultrahotmod is the ultimate mod expansion pack for playing Hotmod1968, West 81.

ACTIVATION

1 - Activate hotmod 1968 - click apply, then restart game.
2 - Activate west 81, then Activate Ultrahotmod - after you have Activated the mods in this order click apply

Pay attention to activate West81, and Ultrahotmod at the same step in this order so it does not crash, if you try to activate it in any other order it will crash.

It is an expansion pack adding more stuff to the mod, including about 100 tanks. It also utilises stock game assets to increase the early Cold War lineups for NATO and the Warsaw Pact.

It has been balanced to be a bit easier than French NATO but has a similar amount of troops with increasing difficulty throughout the campaign, which has two days for one year, meaning the campaign starts in 1945 and continues to 1990. You will get new equipment and infantry introduced at their approximate entrance times and decommissioned, so the USA starts with Sherman tanks and Pershings, and they get gradually phased out over time. There is ofcourse the french division with some strange prototypes and also german division that gradually morphs from wunderwaffe to the cold war west germans.

The Warsaw Pact start with a bunch of prototypes and T-34/85 tanks, and you have more tanks to research and encounter. The Warsaw Pact currently contains Finnish units for cold war as a single division so you have 25% chance of facing the finnish division. the finnish division will be lacking on tanks but they will have alot of good infantry and lots of artillery.

This mod incorporates a similar division system that will be made to conform to French NATO once the update for the revised NATO faction comes out, so this is just my own independent version of it.

The mod will take approximately 2-15 minutes to load into a battle, WARSAW VS NATO takes longest, and the battles last 45 minutes for defence and similar for attack or shorter. Loading times depend on what kind of computer you have due to the amount of assets on it and that it's rather unoptimised currently.

Mod might suffer from occasional crashes and bugs depending on how I did the update but I will strive to fix all reported bugs on the bug report page.

WARNING: the mod will contain various bugs and missing descriptions but should be playable without crashing. im working to fix them all so if you find any remember to report.

Due to the size of the mod its not recommended to run it with max texture quality and model quality since it will eat more than 32GB of ram using medium model and medium texture quality should let it load without eating all the memory.

If you dont have 32-64GB of ram you can use the Mini Factions instead of NATO or Warsaw Pact

The mod most likely has no compatibility with any other mods outside of the 4 mods required to run it due to it being somewhat of a branchoff from west 81

If you feel that you have too little units you can add Ultrahotmod Extreme that has 2.0x units on the battles

@EmperorOfFinland Please help me find out which file and parameter (line in the file) is responsible for the trophies (tanks, weapons, and so on, so that they can be captured and taken with them in a dynamic company

Did you have any infantry to scout for the tanks?

Tanks on this mod can be fairly blind on their own so they prettymuch always need a infantry escort to properly engage to screen for them.

It can be very problematic especially on bocages without infantry support for all tanks and IFVa

@simonenat03 i checked editor and seems to work on my end. can you post the error message and what order you loaded the mods. it should be done like this for editor too.

No it does not you just ran out of memory with 40GB pagefile. you need around 60-70GB i use 70GB myself nowadays. 40GB can run out sometimes.

amazing mod, but, one question. After the last update I cant use it into the editor. What can I do to solve this problem ?

I only have close to 40000 bytes allocated at max and was running the mod completely fine for close to 2 months, but now it says it requires 271000 bytes and it crashes. Yet, i was using the mod yesterday and it was fine, no update today was done that could make this an issue. Is it me, or is it something ingame? When it gives me a crash report, it shows that some vehicles are also an issue, I believe it was the T-54, and the M4A1. Let me know!

hi i think some tank have problem the german spapanzer and jagzpanzer 90 and 105mm dont use their main cannon and a russian destroyer tank was able to wipe my tank at point blank without be shot by tank but the infantry shoot him .I think it was the object 416

The black background on menu is actually intended. its done due to the animated menu background making text hard to read so its intended.

Also some units do infact lack unit icons. Vpasta has been making them but i have not pushed him too hard about him. Ie its summer vacation and etc and really the game is functional without them too. so its not a bug. it is what is intended. so mod should be working as normal.
