[FACTION] US Army 2027

Description
As of December 1st, I have formally retired from ARMA 3. I will no longer be working on any mods, servers, or any other content associated with the game. I have, and always will, hold ARMA 3 close as a game that has helped to shape me on a personal and professional level. I hope to continue to see BI and the franchise grow to help others become impassioned by what this game has to offer.

A complete set of 3 faction variants of US Army soldiers from the year 2025+, equipped with Next Generation Army equipment, such as the M7 SPEAR Rifle, IVAS Headset, IHPS Helmet, and many other upgraded goods.


GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
As the US Army steps into the Next Generation in the 2020s, new and upgraded equipment begins to appear in the hands of the G.I. Notably, the new service rifle, the SIG M7 SPEAR an upgraded, awesome new replacement for the aging M4. Also other rifle replacements such as the new LMG, the M250 to replace the M249, and the MK22 ASR as the new Marksman Rifle. The Joes also get a brand new helmet and headset system, the IHPS, as a replacement to the ACH, and the badass-looking IVAS headset.


THIS FACTION CONTAINS:
  • Standard Issue US Army Rifle Squad and Teams, equipped with IVAS
  • Standard Issue US Army Rifle Squad and Teams, equipped without IVAS
  • Both Tropic and Arctic based US Army Rifle Squad and Teams with and without IVAS
  • Spawnable vehicle groups ranging from Motorized, Mechanized, Armor, and Helicopter Flights
  • Array of vehicles with modernized crewmen, courtesy of RHSUSAF
  • Array of turrets and emplacements, with Next Gen soldiers


KNOWN ISSUES:
  • Some performance hit due to the high LOD assets in the composition.
  • Vest magazines visually don't fit the weapons, obviously due to them being made for 5.56 mags.
  • Minor clipping issues here and there
  • General issues with the rifles, not my fault, the mod is still new and yet to be fixed. Also requires ACE for now because of it.

FUTURE PLANS:
  • US Marine Corps faction
  • US Special Operations (SOCOM, SEALS, and MARSOC)
  • Additional camo variants (AOR1, AOR2, M81, MARPAT - Woodland, and MARPAT - Desert
  • Updated equipment as more become available through RUHSUSAF and Next Generation Armory
  • Whatever else we can think of...

Hey I am new to Arma 3, and I absolutely love the mods you guy's have made. I despise the vanilla gear because I've been running mods since my first time playing and seeing npcs wear gear that looks so different than mine is very immersion breaking and there seem to only be a few NATO Replacement mods and this gear would fit perfect. I am not a modder and i have no knowledge of modding but if there is any way you could make a replacement mod im sure it would be the most downloaded mod on the workshop

Hello! I love this mod, and I really hope you add the USMC version for this, as well as the special operations group. I would love to see the green berets, as I haven't been able to find any mods with the Green Berets yet. I don't know if I haven't just dug enough (Any modern Green Berets).

But! I love you're mods, you do amazing work and I appreciate everything that you have made for the community.

Ahhh alright no worries then (my dumbass didn't realize you made both of these) but yeah the ngsw mod you are currently using is not that great.

@butter Fliege I don't use ACM so i don't know what a basic medic would even need. I dont really have an intention to update them and add yet another medical mod. Not everyone uses ACM and i don't think everyone wants it to be another requirement to an already large list.

@bathtub I just updated my other mod, New Model Army, with the M3A1 (AbramsX). the CV-22 is primarily a USMC asset and isn't used by the US Army. That's what Project Future Vertical Lift is for. I can add in the M3A1 easily, but i think it would best if i did a overhaul of the mod and removed the NGSW mod and use a few others that add in a better representation of the NGWS, albeit with the absence of the new sniper rifle and optics/accessories.

Hey are the medics meant to use ACE medical stuff? because medics have like liters of everything in their bag and actually can heal? if yes, please make it so that they also have stuff from ACM
