Description
Introducing the ONRC - ‘Firedrake’ - snub fighter

"As war broke out across the system, Trelan was the first to fall; as it had done in the previous conflict. ONRC High Command quickly formed a taskforce to retake the planet before its vast resources could be used as a means to our end. A small fleet of warships was sent along with landing craft, numerous platoons and dozens of fighter squadrons primed and ready for a fight... Previously Trelan had been a neutral zone with its territories split across several nations; so our first task was to hold the remaining strongholds we had, and take back those we had lost as fast as possible. Following that we would begin the campaign to take all of Trelan; in which air superiority was key to our ground forces safe movements. The Majority that had this not been the case, or done to the same extent, we might not have held the planet for as long as we did. Unfortunately however, neither side could fully control the planets surface, no matter how many were sent to their deaths... "

This is more of a reskin of one of my older designs which goes by the same name. I wanted a small reliable little fighter that could be used by ONRC and figured why remake something I already have - which fits surprising pretty well as far as "Naval-Retrofits" go.

Regardless of whether or not you've got the calendar one or this one, I hope you enjoy and find use out of it

Cheers, Omega!
