Your comment was clearly meant to suggest more than a similarity. If it was meant to be cheeky, you missed very badly 🤔
I have no intention of painting you as a thief, but any implication of plagiarism, or even inspiration, is unfounded and offensive when it's so clear you got the idea for your books from the Camping Tent Ammo.
As to whether or not they used one of your ideas, I can assure you, they did not. Like me, they have a lengthy backlog of planned projects, and a spell book had already been in the works. If your idea had been inspiration, you would've been credited for it.
A cookbook for Thanksgiving is an obvious mod, and just because you made a book mod, does not mean others will not, especially in a genre of mods which were pioneered by this person.
I posted one comment noting the similarity of specifically holiday-themed books expanding into other objects when deployed-type mod (not that this is a bad thing, mind you), but you're coming off as really hostile towards me. What gives?
From my understanding, the uploader of this mod seems to use and/or like some things I've made, so I wouldn't put it out of the question that maybe they saw one of mine and used the idea as well (which they can, of course, I don't have sole ownership of the concept, anyone can use it).
I'm talking very, very specifically about books-turning-into-things-as-deployable-ammo.
And I don't want it to be interpreted that me saying "I should have stolen this idea" on your item holds any genuine bearing on my actual integrity as a mod creator. I used the word 'steal' as a joke.
I post one cheeky comment here, but now it seems like you're trying to tear me down as some sort of thief and hack. That sort of hurts, man.
Of course, it also reminds me of the Campfire Incendiary Ammo, "Time 4 Crime" Briefcase Ammos, and the RNG Mystery Gift Explosive Ammo from December 2019. All of which predate your spell book ammos.
But hey, since you made a couple of mods with books, a set of cookbooks for thanksgiving must look really "familiar" to you, right?
