Sukritact's Khmer Civilization

Descripción
This mod adds the Khmer Civilization to the game, available for anyone with Brave New World.

Great Barays of Angkor:
Choose between a Food and a Faith boost upon the completion of a World Wonder. +1 Great Engineer Point from your first 4 Cities.

Royal Tromeak:
The Khmer Unique Great Person. While it retains all the benefits of the Great Engineer which it replaces, the Royal Tromeak can also be stationed in cities to cause Domestic Trade Routes to and from the city to provide +3 Production to the city. Additionally, the Royal Tromeak does not contribute to unit maintenance costs, unlike the Great Engineer.

Prasat:
The unique Khmer replacement for the Colosseum. In addition to the extra Faith it provides, the Prasat will also provide +10% Culture when a World Wonder is present in the City.

This mod is naturally compatible with YnAEMP, Tomatekh's Historical Religions Mod, Hazel16's Map Labels and the Events & Decisions Mod.

{ENLACE ELIMINADO}.-- this is a 7z file, which should be extracted into your mods folder (My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization V).

Credits to Leugi for the unit model, JanBoruta for the leaderscreen, and to Viregel for Jayavarman VII's diplo lines! And thanks to Charlatan Alley for the DOM audio!

Peace theme: "ระบำโบราณคดี: ลพบุรี" - Thai Philharmonic Orchestra
War theme: "เงี้ยวรำลึก (ออร์เครสตร้า)" - Thai Philharmonic Orchestra

My sincerest apologies to Cambodian users for the choice of music. Not speaking Khmer myself, I was unable to find any Khmer pieces rendered by a primarily western orchestra - western listeners often find purely traditional music from our region grating.

@nicovallejos: Go air your frustrations elsewhere. This Khmer mod has NOTHING to do with any planned or canceled Pol Pot mods. I have nothing to do with Uighur Caesar and he is NOT seeing this rubbish you are posting to my mod. Go pester him on HIS mods if you must.

Because of Windows 10 I cannot use the Steam link. Please send me a direct link to the download file?

@sukritact, Looks very good, thanks. Just wondering, does it support ethnic units mod?

My thanks for a fun mod. It might be a little overpowered - I won a cultural victory in 233 turns at the Prince level (standard sized map), and production in the capital at the end was 287 per turn with the production focus set to food... BTW, there is a group of musicians who are victims of land mines who perform near Angkor Wat - and some of their music is quite pleasant - there are videos of their performances available. I especially recommend their album of music for weddings.

Seems like the bonus points start to accumulate in the city where latest GE wonder was built... Had it at the capital, then built Petra in a different city and it started to accumulute 5 points instead of 1.

This civ is extremely overpowered. You should remove the + great engineer accumulation it is just way to easy...

Played through with them again, making sure to look closely at the GE points in the capital. It was still only giving me one from cities, my capital. None of my other cities were giving a GE point in the capital. As far as the Royal Tromeak goes, I was able to make better use of it this time, but only because of the map. Proximity of suitable city locations, high-gold yield luxuries that allowed me to not have to use those trade routes to keep from losing money, and locations that blocked off barbarian access to those trade routes, made it work quite well. So, the Royal Tromeak can be either great or terrible, depending on what the map is like. With ideal map conditions, it's awesome. With mediocre or bad map conditions, it's awful.

Just wondering - are generally all new civilizations compatibile with mods like Ethnic Units or R.E.D....? I mean - will Khmers look oriental with these mods, or will it be a standard Civ graphic for all units...?

They probably aren't smart enough to utilise the stationing bonus sadly, they do however, know how to pick between faith and food. The food bonuses go only to the city that builds the wonder.
