Description
Napstablook: The Spectral Spectacle

Napstablook from UNDERTALE joins Rivals of Aether Workshop! Take on opponents using quick attacks with varying range, and with the help of their musical skills and instruments!

Napstablook can be described as a floaty zonebreaker, in which they rely on quick attacks for combos along with some zoner and bait & punish tactics to mix things up for those who oppose them.

Gimmick: Spook Tunes
You have three records, Spooktune, Spookwave, and Ghouliday, that you can cycle through using different special moves. These can interact with your kit in different ways, including using them in a turntable that allows Napstablook much more versatility!

Special Moves

Neutral Special - Record Sling
Throws out a record and switches to the next. If a record touches the turntable, the turntable will start playing that record, with a bigger hitbox that has the same properties as the record inserted.
  • Spooktune travels in a straight line forward. Pops up.
  • Spookwave goes forward quickly before turning around and easing backward quickly. Sends out.
  • Ghouliday travels forward and is influenced by gravity, bouncing on the floor. Stuns and sends upward with more knockback than Spooktune.

Forward Special - Spectral Jet
A quick dash forward for recovery. Can be used once per airtime.

If your turntable exists (indicated by music notes around you), you'll get the option of a second dash, Fspecial 2: Spectral Burst, by pressing special again. This has a hitbox that has different stats depending on the record in the record table.
  • Spooktune has the lowest killpower, but the highest combo potential.
  • Spookwave has decent killpower and combo potential.
  • Ghouliday has the best killpower, but the lowest combo potential.
Afterward, your record and the record in the turntable will be swapped.

Up Special - Spooky Jump
You flatten yourself and jump upwards with a hitbox at the bottom, flying from a cloud of dust. If the turntable exists, you can jump out of the record table, destroying it. Hold parry to not do this and just perform the regular version of Up Special.

Down Special - Record Table
Sets down the turntable with your currently held record playing, and switches your record to the next in the queue.
If the turntable exists already, it teleports it to your current position.
