Description
Adds 17 new pets and completely reworks the pet story cycles that already exist in the game!

A pet is no longer just a modifier; it's an animal with personality, age, health... and even an opinion of their owner! They can develop relationships with other pets and have children. There's a brand new GUI that lets you see most of this info and more.

To help care for your pet, you can hire a Keeper of the Menagerie. They will see to the day-to-day care of the animals, and employing one also unlocks additional functionalities for the player! However, like all people, they can also cause issues...!

Since cat/dog/horse story cycles are used in vanilla content, I have done my best to handle that so nothing will break. However, since I've edited quite a lot of files for this mod, and I don't own the latest DLCs, please let me know if you encounter any bugs or weird behavior and I'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible!

Save Game Compatibility
It handles any started cat/dog/horse stories, so it's safe to add to started playthroughs!





Mod Compatibility
Not compatible with another mod that touches the cat/dog/horse story cycles, but otherwise it's fairly self-contained! However, it handles quite a few files, so tread with caution and let me know if you encounter any issues!

@CanadianBaconism I cannot reproduce this issue, do you have any more info you can give me? e.g. do you have the latest version of the mod? What animal do you ask them to search for? Are you in a war? etc.

@smiki5five No new animals planned atm, my next step will be to incorporate the vanilla eagles into the mod!

I am encountering an issue where I can just keep sending my keeper of the menagerie out to look for animals but they never come back. Also I can continually enact the decision without cooldown

@DrakeSteele I don't have that DLC, but imo it makes sense that a landless character can't have a menagerie! Atm it's locked behind being landed, so I guess that would affect adventurers as well

Added mod and resumed a game, and the UI icon is there, but no Decisions present for the pets as a landless adventurer.
