DDR V2 - Special Forces (1974-1982)

This pack depicts the Uniforms of the Various Special Forces Agencies of the German Democratic Republic from 1974-1982. Most of these agencies would be in their infancy during this time.

This Pack Includes:

Fallschirmjägerbataillon "Willi Sänger" - The 40th Parachute Battalion was the only dedicated air assault/airborne unit of the NVA. It was denoted by the iconic orange highlights that served as a dedication to the German Peasant's War. In the event of a war, this unit would be tasked with the initial air invasion of the West. Some experts considered this to be one of the most skilled special forces units of the Eastern Bloc. So far, this pack contains a field and service uniform.
