The Coalition's premier personnel carrier, the Skink combines a versatile autocannon with the devastating armour piercing punch of an anti-tank missile to create a powerful fighting platform capable of engaging threats alongside its carried infantry. The Skink's troop compartment is notably cramped once all required equipment is accounted for, and so it is not uncommon to see various pieces of combat equipped stowed externally. The platform's ample stowage was designed with this in mind in fact, although the resulting dash to fetch gear once fighting breaks out is not much appreciated by the soldiery, and many sections choose to dismount shortly before contact to avoid such a risky manoeuvre With the steadily degrading climate of their home, Coalition fighters are rarely deployed outside the safety of NBC protected armour, although no such concerns are present on this new frontier - yet. Still, soldiers typically keep their gasmasks close to hand; you never know when a new nuclear war might break out.
