Alarm Tweaks

Description
Alarm Tweaks adds some minor changes to the game that I feel improve the Terraria experience.

Every change can be enabled or disabled in the configuration menu.
Feel free to comment with feedback, suggestions, and/or bug reports; I'll typically respond within a day or two (if I have anything to say).

Latest update: v1.6 (click on the Change Notes tab at the top for previous release notes)
  • Player-inflicted damage variation can be edited (default is 15%, same as vanilla)
  • Added unique effects to each Gem Staff (see changelist or full changelog for detailed list)
  • Revolver now converts Musket Balls, Silver Bullets, and Tungsten Bullets into High Velocity Bullets
  • Increased the drop rate of Bone Sword from 1/100 to 1/50
  • Increased the drop rate of Light Shard and Dark Shard from Wyverns from 1/5 to 1/4
  • Added a sell value of 1 copper to Vine Rope and 10 copper to Vine Rope Coil
  • 1 Coal and 3 Wood can be used to craft 9 Torches
  • Coal now has a max stack size of 9999
  • Coal now has a rarity of Gray (disabled by default)
  • Increased the damage of the Blade of Grass from 18 to 22, and increased the damage of its Leaf Blade projectile from 25% of base damage to 50%
  • The Shadow Chest crafting recipe now uses Obsidian and any Iron Bars instead of a Chest and Demonite Bars
  • Digging Molecart now works on the Surface and above
  • Magic Quiver now increases the speed of arrows with a velocity multiplier (i.e. an extraUpdates value, like Jester's Arrows)
  • Magic Quiver tooltip now shows its +10% arrow knockback effect (this effect is in vanilla, but isn't shown by the tooltip)
  • Updated the Light Shard and Dark Shard tooltips to show that they can drop from Wyverns (if that option is enabled)
  • Fixed Obsidian Rose fire immunity change config option being unable to be changed if it was disabled on load
  • Fixed changed gem staff recipes only requiring 1 bar each
  • Fixed Megashark armor penetration tooltip line being positioned below the flavor text line
  • Fixed Pearlwood Bow rarity change not making it immune to being destroyed by lava

It looks like steam just didn't download the newest version the last time I was online; it did just now, and everything seems to be working just fine. Sorry for all the trouble!

What bothers me the most is that it only happens if terraspark boots are placed in your inventory, holding them with mouse or in any accessory slot is completely fine.

for some reason i stopped having the bug happen when i released the last update, which is weird because it happens for me now without changing anything
i think i found what was actually causing it, let me know if it still happens for you after updating

The issue is still there. I tried to see if it's another mod causing this to happen, so I created a character with only terraspark boots in their iventory via Terrasavr.
I took them to a fresh generated with only this mod enabled, and I was greeted with an immediate softlock.
The character is floating a block above the world spawn, with slimes aggroed by guide just jumping through me without affecting me at all.
Disabling dunerider changes from config doesn't seem to be of any help oddly enough.

yeah i wouldn't be surprised if it was caused by this, i'll try to get a patch out tomorrow
it shouldn't break your save/character or anything, but just in case i'd recommend not turning either option back on until it's fixed

Really liking this mod, however, there seems to be a bug where if terraspark boots inherit dunerider boots' effects, half of the UI disappears, with the player being frozen in place and no inputs working after I try to remove terraspark boots from my character once equipped. I'm not sure yet if it's a mod conflict or not, but disabling all duneriders/terraspark changes got rid of it.
