This masterpiece was meticulously crafted using Substance Painter, a powerful tool that allowed us to create a myriad of texture maps, including roughness, normal, and metalness. These intricate maps seamlessly integrate into Source2 and CS2, infusing our skins with unparalleled depth and exquisite details.

The design of Emperor's Jade revolves around three essential materials:

Jade: The weapon's predominant feature is its exquisite jade adornment. Initially, we contemplated a polished jade finish, but our vision leaned towards a more weathered, rustic appearance. Consequently, we meticulously introduced cracks and imperfections, infusing the jade with authentic depth and character.

Copper: Our copper component boasts a distinctive brushed, machined texture to distinguish it from gold, often mistaken for in previous iterations.

Wood: Inspired by jade artifacts frequently complemented with dark, polished wood accents, we opted for a darker wood finish.






To infuse this skin with a distinctive touch, we introduced varied wear patterns to different segments:

Jade: As wear accumulates, the jade gradually loses its pristine sheen, accumulating dirt and character.

Copper: Intensifying wear triggers oxidation, resulting in distinctive green markings and a gradual darkening of the copper's surface.

Wood: The dark wood finish gracefully bears scratches and abrasions with increased wear, revealing the default wood texture beneath.
