Description

Does it annoy you that the Soviet Union collapses every time?
every time the allies do 100% of the stuff because the soviet union has collapsed or is a stalmate in the urals?

You've just come to the right place

THIS MOD DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY BUFFS!

Soviet Union don't get any national spirits, factories for free, etc.

MORE DETAILS

- SOV makes good templates and designs (Infantry 9/2 with logistic)
- SOV doesn't produce planes until ~1942 (does anti air instead)
- SOV chooses the best focuses
- SOV will build powerful economy (110 civs in 1939)
- SOV will produce a huge army to defend
- SOV during the war will be more focused on logistics
- SOV during stalemate will do more mountaineers
- SOV doesn't do stupid naval invasions
- SOV will make katyusha
Mod doesn't work with Road to 56, Improved AI Research, (i checked it)
works with most mods that don't change much in the game (focus tree and AI)

I recommend adding the mod to the save where you want the Soviet Union to be better.
If you enable the mod from the beginning, Soviet Union can stop the German AI early

im going to suck all your man-mayonnaise cus i hate the soviet union collapsing 1-2 years into the war to german ai

Some feedback on the mod. I used the current version and played a game with all DLCs as Germany. I gave the Soviet AI two slider bonus in the starting difficulty selection. So I expected a tough Barbarossa. I played more or less historical (no Weserübung, no Yugoslavia). I declared war on the Soviets in June 41. I started checking in on the Soviets end of July, since they where a push-over ...

They are short of every equipment (except for convoys), they have only 1.1M manpower. They are not recruting new units. They have 11 different designs of Motorized Infantry and they are all bad (added cavalry or tanks, used all columns of the division). Those templates seem to hurt them. They have dedicated 40 MILs to building trucks and still only have 180 trucks in stock (which they need for logistics). The other division templates (inf, cav, mtn, light tank) seem ok. But they have no medium tank division template, are not producing any tanks and only have one light tank division (left).

Concerning the tech: They are currently researching Improved Medium Tanks (1,5 years late), they have 1940 aircraft researched, but don't build them (seems intended from your mod). Of the 1940 artillery techs they only have artillery and antitank (but no antitank equipment) and no 1941 artillery tech or rocket artillery, AA is still the 1936 tech (but they have around 6500 of them). Instead they have researched the Fire Control Naval Techs and are currently researching active sonar ... Electronic engineering is still only 1938 tech. Rest of the research seems ok.

They have placed their army good (only token force in the far east).

If you have questions about other information, just ask. If you could manage to sort out the division template and the research problems, the mod might actually work. Currently it does not what it claims to do... Cheers and thanks for the time you invested in the mod!
