Flipper - Steam Powered Landing Craft

Description
Steam Ship Flipper
GBO shipyards are delighted to announce our first restoration project, the steamer landing craft Flipper! With this project, we intended to restore this wonderful ship from the 1900's to its original form and state, we did not add any new system nor any new features, just a good old steamer made the way they did back then!
The flipper is an 80-foot landing craft designed to transport a variety of freight to remote locations where a harbour was not present. During her career in the 1900s, she transported a large amount of cargo and vehicles to beaches, swamps and riverbanks. Now you have the pleasure to pilot and have a ride on this wonderful ship, alone or with a friend!

tips and tricks
  • Be careful when going down from the pilot house since it is very difficult to grab the ladder from the top, use the reserved space on the starboard size.
  • When coming up from the engine room, use the handle on the top left side of the ladder.
  • When approaching a landing location, use the slow speed on the Telegraph to be sure you don't beach yourself.
  • On long voyages you can use the firebox temperature controller to fine tune how much steam you produce and by itself how fast you can go and how much water and coal you use.
  • Use the chart table on the Helm house to plot your voyage and trough dead reckoning know where you are going and how much time you will take to get there, all "analogue"!

I have a simple suggestion to fix the steam problem.
Condenser + desalinator
condenser would be the main source, and the desalinator would be used for steam used by the whistle

Why does it use so much water now?
AXEL_X  [author] 18 Mar, 2024 @ 1:58pm
@jackrileu427 Its a game problem with steam, i can not do anything about it, the craft is balanced to the game when it was released, if i add more water it will become heavier and seat lower in the water.

@TheBlueBaguette Hello, yes i have notice that for some reason the boiler cannot maintain temperature how it was able before, im not really sure how i can fix this but it will need a full boiler/furnance redesing.

Temp wont increase high enough to make steam, did the recent update break it? Do you plan on fixing it?
