Idle Work

Description
This is a a very simple mod that adds an idle work type, and an idle spot, this mod is designed for people who have lots of colonist and don't want them checking for work all the time, and slowing down the game. Now you can give them a job doing nothing and just standing around.

This can also be used in more creative ways, for instance if you want people on guard, just set the idle work type to be the high probity and place idle spots where you want them to stand guard.

If you have a location in your base that your colonist don't use much, set down idle spots and have them idle there.

Idle spots can also be placed on other things, so you can place them on a table and have colonist idle at a table.

Has anyone tried it with 1.6?

I was hoping someone had maybe come up with a creative setup

No, I meant a more indirect method (maybe by fucking around with the work tab or schedule or something)

I tried to change the spot to a small dot and it turned invisible, I kind of like it but would love some feedback of what people think the spot should look like. Originally it was just a silhouette of a chess pawn.

@SAUCE__GODD Not really, this is not really a guard mod. If you want more features the mod Guarding Pawns(I think it's called that) would be better, but would come with it own performance issues. However, I have heard it's not terrible for performance and better than the Guard For Me mod, but any mod that adds new features like that will have some sort of performance impact.

Does anyone know a way to have them alternate spots at certain times, creating patrol routes?

Made me think of a job couch, where idlers sit ready for direct odd jobs.
Would be great if they keep themself fit in regards of recreation, sleep and food - like a ready for action-team, who stay ready in the rec/din room

@123caboom Yes, idlers still exist this just gives you a very easy way to give them something to do, so they aren't technically idling. You still need to use this mod correctly and user error can lead to idlers.

Doni still get notificated for idlers? Cause this also hints on walled-in ppl or en-/exclosed pawns
